About KONSORTIUM

KONSORTIUM is a collective of the three artists Lars Breuer (b. 1974, lives in Cologne), Sebastian Freytag (b. 1978, lives in Cologne) and Guido Münch (b. 1966, lives in Düsseldorf).
Driven by their common artistic interests they first operated as an eponymous independent exhibition space in Düsseldorf (founded 2004 by Lars Breuer, Sebastian Freytag, Jan Kämmerling and Guido Münch). From 2002 to 2003 Lars Breuer, Sebastian Freytag and Guido Münch runned an exhibition space called „Binterimstrasse 65“ in Düsseldorf.
The collective activity is accompanied by the curating of group exhibitions such as „Secondary Structures“ at KIT/ Kunsthalle Düsseldorf (2007) or „Gold“ at Sydney College of the Arts (2009). In 2014 KONSORTIUM opened the first part of the exhibition „DYSTOTAL“ in Pori Art Museum in Finland.
